Placed in foster care at the age of 12, Loren D. Whittingham, (SCRIPT) only had poetry to fight his demons and childhood pain. At the beginning of his artistic career, he gained strong recognition and excelled in a flash to the top of the Ottawa spoken word poetry scene.
